poster: A Goal Is A Dream Taken Seriously
The castle on the poster has seven towers on which you put sticky notes with your answers to seven questions—Who, What, When, Where, Why, How, How Much—and one tower on which you summarise your answers as your Serious Dream. Your castle inspires you with spires soaring upward toward your dreams and your castle supports you with solid foundations grounded in reality. The castle is a visual symbol of one of the wisest things I've ever said: A goal is a dream taken seriously. Your castle invites you to dream—and to take your dream seriously.
guide: Castle Guide to the Castle Process
The Castle Guide asks you questions about yourself, your preferences, and your dreams. It gives you a way to set priorities on your answers so that you can make clear choices. This is both a guide to the time of your life—and a lifetime guide that you can return to at any time in your life.
library: Castle Library to the Castle Process
The Castle Library includes my other writings on this process, with more stories and more information on specific parts of the Castle Process. It also includes copies of the worksheets in this Guide so that you can download extra copies. The Castle Library is found in the navigation links at the top of the page. If you want to know more about Walt Hopkins work and his life, you can find several video interviews, a sequence of video demonstrations, and some other writings within in the Library section.

passport: Journaling Passport
As you respond to the questions in this Castle Guide, put your answers in a Learnings Journal (a notebook or your computer). If you already keep a journal, you may choose to use that—or you may choose to use a separate volume as your Learnings Journal for this process. Use the Journaling Passport for ideas on starting a journal and ideas on using your journal in different ways.

passport: Passport to Results
As you move through the Castle Process, you get clear on your own Serious Dream. Then you need to work with other people to make that Serious Dream happen. Walt Hopkins has written a 400-page book on Influencing for Results in Organisations which gives you lots of help with that part of the process. Meanwhile, the Passport to Results gives you a summary of the influencing process.
sticky notes: 100 translucent sticky notes

Use regular sticky notes to gather your possible answers to each of the seven questions. When you have set your priorities on your answers to one of the questions, then put those priorities on a translucent sticky in the box at the beginning of that chapter. Take some time to reflect on your answers. When you are ready, transfer that translucent sticky note onto the Castle so that you can see both your priorities and the castle that is solidly supporting them. Write on the translucent sticky before you put it on the Castle, so you can see where the edges are! When you later want to add, remove, or change your priorities, just use another sticky.
